With the Bucks' season ending last week, the official basketball season ended and summer ball is starting to heat up, so let's take a look at the latest in the world of hoops in Milwaukee.

Basketball season in Milwaukee officially came to a close last night as the Bucks lost in Boston, 87-74. Yep. 74. Now that's the way to finish the season, with 74 points. Can the players scream, "we want the pain of this season to end" any louder? It wasn't all bad though, the Bucks held the Celtics to 27 points in the second half. That is some serious D, and the way Scott Skiles likes his teams to play, but even that kind of D won't help when you give up 39 in the second quarter. The "Climate study" that I've been talking about on my website for over a month now is basically a top-down stripping of the entire department to figure out exactly what's wrong with it. It's like we have a 1990 Chevy Camaro that's been beat to **** in the past few years and we need to take it all apart and rebuild it.
It's not going to be fun, but it's necessary. The study itself is almost done, but the decisions based off the study will play out over the next couple months.
