When was the last time MU played an IVY League school? I'm drawing a blank, but if I had to guess, was it Dartmouth?

Columbia might have been the most recent, but I remember playing Princeton in one of Blue and Gold Classics I think. I think it was in the Crean era. We might have lost.

Nova doing almost nothing but hoisting up 3s and not making them. They look like MU against Iowa....other then all the layups Iowa got.

If Oklahoma would have shot like this they would have beaten UW by 30.

Nova only shooting 31% from 3 on the year....they take 33 per game

Nova's style is fun to watch but it is also why they went out early in the last 2 NCAA tournaments. Live by the 3 and die by it.

They do play excellent D

Brutal performance by Nova considering their experience and talent.

Horrible game.

On the plus side, Lavin is really, really good on TV. I'd rank him top studio college hoops guy (aside from Bilas). Jim Jackson is really good too.

It's only one game, but I think X is the class of the conference this year and Georgetown could also finish ahead of Nova. Nova's offense was fine when they got the ball inside from penetration or post feeds to Ochefu. The problem is that they settled for way too many perimeter jumpers and tried to shoot their way to victory. I hope they adjust to becoming an inside-out offense and not chucking half of their shots from three.

Good thing Jay has Omari Spellman coming in next year. Villanova lacks a post presence. Ochefu is much improved but is still inconsistent offensively.

Better for Nova to realize this now than the first weekend of the tournament. At times, Nova was just passing around the perimeter hunting for a 3. This game tape will be a great teaching tool for the staff and players.
