Hoyas showing up well after the dud against Radford. Tied at the half.

Stone has really changed his body. He looks lost though.

Hoyas picking them apart early in 2nd half.

Stone looks really lost defensively... They are chewing him up.

You just never know....Bradley Hayes had scored 30 points in his first 3 years at Georgetown and now the big guy is valuable piece to the puzzle as a senior.

Derikson is a good looking freshman for Hoyas.

G'town lost tonight but they are a good team. No idea what happened against Radford, but they looked like a top-20 team tonight.

Hoyas could not quite finish it out, but I think that they make the Radford loss a forgotten memory. They will smoke Wisconsin if they play anywhere near this level on Friday. Do that, and they can take Duke down on Sunday.

They have a lot of youth but those guys don't look like freshmen/sophs.....they are men.

Absolute heartbreaker. I didn't think they'd win the game all night until they got up 7 with what, 4 or 5 mins to go. Would have been huge! Ah well, represented the conference well in defeat. Gotta beat Bucky Friday, the program has never started 0-3.

And they were without Campbell, White, and Agau.

They'll need a PG to take over for DSR after this season, but that team is loaded moving forward.

Also another example of why the early Top 25 polls are meaningless. Georgetown not a Top 25 team before their Radford game? With the players they have returning? I know SI had Georgetown at #20 preseason. After the Radford game, obviously they would deserve to drop out. DSR, Copeland, Peak, Campbell, White, Derrickson, Govan....all Top 100 players. DSR, Peak, Copeland, White and Govan were Top 50, Top 60. Georgetown now needs to win Friday against Wisconsin. They also have Syracuse in December. Need to back up the talent with some wins.

Man, has a team ever NOT deserved to win a game more than Providence????? That being said, good win for the conference.

Hyper ugly game, but yes, good win for conference.

I think both PC and Illinois have some upside this season, but Illinois is badly missing a PG and Providence really needs a wing scorer. Illinois would be a top 10-15 team with Kris Dunn, and PC badly needs someone like Malcolm Hill or Jalen Coleman-Lands to complement Dunn on the perimeter. Jalen Lindsay is the X factor for Providence, as they need him to consistently hit open jumpers and also create his own offense from the wing.

Bentil had a nice game although he would have been the goat at the end as he got caught ball watching.

Dunn, Bullock and Bentil give them 3 nice options but they won't win many games with Dunn being a non factor for most of the game.

Interesting game for Tim Brando and Bill Raftery. 8-18 from the foul line for PC. Crazy finish.
