Intersting co-incidence

Some have posted on various boards the similarity of MU playing Belmont tonight with a very young squad and the MU-Winthrop game in the Amigos frosh season. Both were very early season games with the Winthrop game being the 2nd game of that season with MU losing to Winthrop in the championship game of the Blue and Gold Classis. Obviously, Winthrop had a far different kind of team. Interestingly though, both teams had/have a player named Craig Bradshaw. Winthrop's Bradshaw was a 6'10" center from New Zealand who gave MU fits in that game. Belmont's Bradshaw is a 6'3" sharpshooter and leading scorer.

very interesting. From a fans perspective I LOVE that our first game is a good opponent, the schedule overall is weak, but being that it is front loaded it leads to a lot of excitement from a fans perspective to start he season off.
