(1) Milwaukee - Key young players: John Henson, Greg Monroe, Khris Middleton, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Michael Carter-Williams, Jabari Parker

The Bucks cemented this spot when they signed free-agent Monroe this summer. Monroe doesn't turn 26 until June of next season, yet he likely will be the oldest member of a Milwaukee starting lineup that will grow together over the next few years. Middleton has already established himself as one of the top 10 shooting guards in the league, and if we were re-selecting the 2013 draft, Antetokounmpo might be the first player taken (though it would probably be Utah's Rudy Gobert). And these numbers are almost certainly underselling Parker, whose rookie numbers don't give him a great baseline from which to project.

(3) Utah
(4) Boston
(5) Philadelphia
(6) Portland
(7) Charlotte
(8) Toronto
(9) Orlando
(10) Detroit

Philadelphia only at #5, despite their consistent tanking year after year, accumulating draft picks and trading away Rookie of the Year MCW to the Bucks. Embiid is now projected out for another season with his foot issues (glad the Bucks took Parker). Okafor might be a start to getting them back on track.

I get clearing cap and playing younger players and being willing to have a bad couple years to try and get better, but it doesn't always work.

Philly took care of step 1, being bad and clearing cap space. But being in the lottery doesn't always mean a sure fire star like Tim Duncan, Anthony Davis, Wade, Durant or Lebron. Sometimes it gets you a Nerlens Noel and Joel Embiid.

I really like where the Bucks are and what they have done to put this team together. No reason to think this young team will be fun to follow and could be a perfect group to bring excitement heading into the new stadium.

Crowder was listed as a key member of the young core for Boston.

Let's hope that all of these guys turn into more than just potential, Giannis and Parker will need to develop into All Star's if the Bucks want to make a run at anything, the is pretty much what the NBA has boiled down to these days.
