Speaking of coaches, anyone see the shot of Pitino arriving at the stadium in Greensboro? He had a red scarf wrapped around his neck in the style that women are wearing now. Does he think he is Don freaking Corleone?

yes, saw that Jim. I don't blame him for being that upset. Nova was diving for loose balls and we were playing soft, like he said in the huddle. We just look tired, which is understandable.

Time to relegate this MU team to the history books...great effort, but missing pieces, lack of physical size/length, poor shooting , the coaching change and such a short-handed roster....congrats to all these young guys for all their efforts in the face of all that adversity.

Tidbits: Redshirt freshman Duane Wilson sat for most of the second half of Thursday's loss after mildly spraining his left wrist in Wednesday's win over Seton Hall. He tried to play through it, but ultimately wasn't comfortable and there was no need to risk further injury. Wilson wore a soft cast in the locker room after the game and said he should be OK with rest. ...
