There has been discussion on all boards about the size of the crowds at games this season as well as the actions/noise of the fan base. Most of it has been critical due in large part to the lack of success on the court.
Last week, I went to the Creighton/MU game in Omaha and was shocked.
Shocked because we have heard about the great fan base, support, knowledge etc of the Blue Jay fans and yet, there were many empty seats for the game and the student section was pretty light as well. On top of that, with about 3 minutes to go and the Blue Jays winning, fans started to leave! With about 30 seconds to go there may have been 2000 people left in their seats.
So it just goes to show you that the bottom line is winning. If the Creighton fans who have a sterling reputation are acting like this, it is no wonder we are experiencing similar things at the Bradley Center this season.
