Lavin finally gets one of his top 2015 targets.

Will Lavin be there to coach him?

Will Lavin be there to coach him? If St. John's goes to the tourney, he should be.

I wonder if this changes things with Isaiah Briscoe (who did not sign anything in the fall)? It was thought that Briscoe did not want to be the first to leap and commit to the Johnnies. Now, you have a top 50 guard that committed there, so Briscoe would not be on an island. Also, Kentucky already has two solid guards that most likely will be there next year in Tyler Ulis and Devin Booker.

Is there any chance either or both of the Harrison twins don't go pro? I guess I doubt it at this point.
I wonder what Charles Matthews thinks now.

From a conference standpoint, it seems Lavin still has a name, so I think he is overall good for the conference.

Actually, Briscoe did sign. After saying repeatedly he wouldn't, he changed his mind and made it official.

Ah well, there goes that idea. I still wonder what Briscoe thinks now, as he is looking at reserve minutes at Kentucky and St. John's having a strong guard to pair with him now.
