Very important game for G'Town (and the Big East).
Would be a nice one to have given we are coming back to earth a bit.

Georgetown needs a great non-conference win, other than Florida.

Not a good start for Georgetown. Down 11 on FS1
Providence up by 4 on rival URI on FS Wisconsin.

G'town down 1 with a minute and a half to go. Great game -- very well played game by both

GT lost, but Providence bounced back with a nice win over Rhode Island.

Georgetown looked pretty good in a losing effort. Turned it over a bit too much against KU and DSR could not hit anything, but on the whole looked far better then last year. All this loss does for Georgetown and their NCAA chances is possibly cost them a 1-2 seed line boost from beating a top 10 team (and Kansas looked much improved from the Kentucky beat down earlier this year).

Watched most of that game. Peak looked really good, and Smith is a load, but vulnerable if a guard doubles quickly. Trawick left the game with a knee injury, anyone know what happened there?

Trawick seemed to be able to walk off ok, guessing he will be fine. Smith-Rivera had a bad shooting night, and he is Georgetown's go-to guy. It will be Kansas or Texas winning the Big 12, I would guess Kansas. Georgetown is a good team and have a good trio of freshmen seeing regular playing time in the rotation (LJ Peak, Isaac Copeland and Paul White).

Peak is very impressive. He has the chance to be a very good player for a long time there. Or maybe not so long.
