Well the conference is guaranteed to win at least 1 game today. Xavier, Providence and Creighton should get W's. It would a huge bonus if either MU or St. Johns could get an upset.

Oh man. Vitale is going to be merciless with his references to Wojo, Coach K and Duke.

I'm worried about the Providence game. Dunn is out. Yale is pretty good and it's a look ahead game for Providence, as Sunday they are at Kentucky.

Not a good day for the Big East...to say the least.

Xavier and Creighton may come back to rue those losses at a later date. I think X is talented enough to overcome this, but they probably just added one more Big East win needed to get an at-large (X's schedule really needed Washington on it, as it is a very weak slate on the whole). They better hope that the conference continues playing well enough to where they can overcome a non-existent out of conference resume.
On the flip side, Butler looks pretty legit and may be a serious threat for an upper half finish. Also, very surprised that St. John's played a close game with the Zags. I figured that the Johnnies would be run off the floor, even at the Garden.

You never know what you will get from the Johnnies. Play Zags tight one day, mail it in the next.
With their quickness, we will have trouble with them for sure.
