Amazing!! Bruce Pearl knows exactly how to get the fans excited!! Why does Jeter fail to do that?? Hes a cool guy,but Bruce Pearl is a big time personality!! I wish we still had that!!

I'd love to win the game too but I can't say it has anything to do with Bruce. I appreciated what he accomplished as our coach, but was relieved when he moved on. He's a great salesman and a damn good coach but the other baggage is too heavy. I wish him luck at Auburn; he and the SEC are a match.

He is a genius when it comes to promoting a program. There is absolutely nobody better. I actually sent this video to Leah Thyne in athletics lol. She is doing great work, maybe she can take something from it and we will see some improvements in coach jeter getting active on campus trying to get people involved. Or maybe something else, who knows? All i know is things keep looking up for milwaukee athletics the longer she is here. Created the new website, got the panther gear website going, and has some big ideas. Cant wait to find out what else.

Well if you were at our general meeting a couple of weeks ago you would know... Anyway, wanted to get the midnight madness event back but athletics wont budge on it because of costs. Still trying to get tshirt designs submitted. Working on bus funds for roadtrips. Grant hearing is on november 5th for marketing and advertising funds. We figured out the most likely bus and roadtrip dates. Working on more sponsors. So yeah working hard as we can with our school schedule.

Familiar face on the Auburn roster: Antoine Mason, the former Niagara star who started his first ever game as a freshman against the Panthers back in our 2010-11 championship season. The Panthers won the game 90-73 on the road, but Mason had 18 points and 4 rebounds, while going 8-of-9 from the charity stripe.

If I remember correctly, PantherLou was at that game.

This is going to be an interesting game to see how the Panthers come out after last season, and how Auburn plays with a new head coach. Really, really hope we can win this game.

We blew it. No way I can sugar-coat this. We blew this game and I'm doing everything possible to keep the tattered remains of my sanity together.

Can't make a free-throw to save our lives... like usual.

The "refs" were a joke.

Just incredibly f'ing disappointed.

Yep, shoulda won but we blew it, terrible free-throw shooting, some dumb fouls(as well as some bad calls), and all around sloppy play at the end. Justin Jordan was playing more like the 5th year senior and McWhorter more like the freshmen.

Cody fouling a three point as the shot clock was running out. Brett passing the ball out of bounds was a killer. That was 5 points right there.

Must defend without using your hands. Same problem as last year.

It was a given that the refs were going to handcuff us as much as possible.

The positives I can give, at least for now:

Akeem is a budding phenom. Just so many good moves and shots he made last night. I had a double-take when I remembered he's only a soph.

Justin Jordan's had a very good showing to start off his collegiate career.

Brett Prahl had the highlight of the night and he's going to be a beast in the paint.

And honestly, I think we probably could've/would've won if Austin was healthy...

I mean, I agree with you, but the last 5 minutes we didn't do ourselves any favors.

If Auburn had 8,113 fans in the crowd I'll eat my shoe. There's no way that's even paid attendance, because this was their season opener and Bruce Pearl's first game.

Just looked over the stats again. It would've been a lot closer with the whole FT deal, but Akeem was 0-7 on 3's and a lot of those were in-and-outs. If 3 of those go in, it's a whole other ballgame.

Yeah Springs shoots a lot of jumpers that don't go in. But I don't think that meant the game!!

I think the worst shot was Springs early in the shot clock with like a minute and a half left. That killed it for me.
