Aaron Durley Granted Release From Marquette

Milwaukee – Prep center Aaron Durley has been granted a release from his National Letter of Intent with the Marquette University men’s basketball team and will not join the program for the 2012-13 campaign.

The 6-10, 270-pounder out of Ft. Bend Bush High School in Texas had signed with the Golden Eagles in November of 2011.

“It has been a privilege and pleasure building a relationship with Aaron and his family,” head coach Buzz Williams said. “We wish Aaron the absolute best in his future academic and athletic career. I believe he will be successful in both.”

I hope the kid lands on his feet. Many speculated that he wasn't ready for MU/BEast basketball. I hope he finds a place where he can develop his physical gifts.
