This guy is night and day from old Administration. I also like that he has put himself / MU into the new stadium discussion as well.
A financial commitment from MU to get the new sports complex done may also bring in revenue from MU that doesn not currently exist on game day.

It was the right time to go to a lay leader. My impression is that not many people are upset by that.

Good point. I wonder if there would have been more concerns/issues had Lovell replaced Fr. Wild the first time. Many would have accepted, but would there have been a vocal faction out there against it? And how large? Fr. Pilarz may have had a legacy afterall ... ;)
