Yes, Wizards. He played final weekend of ProAm the first weekend in August and said he was finalizing a deal with Wizards. Also said he worked out for a crazy number of teams prior to draft, 12 or 18? Something like that.

Obviously a very productive player, but Jim, why do you think the light never turned on for Jamil to take that next step in his collegiate career?

I don't know if it is that the light never turned on or that he was just better suited for a different type of game. He is a perfect example of the description 'Happy-Go-Lucky'. Someone with that type of attitude could do well in an open court, NBA style of game whereas the college 'every possession is critical' is much different.

Some guys are great college players but just don't translate to the pros. Some are good college players that are more suited for the pro game. Jamil may just be one of those guys.
