Do you think Wojo is pushing this stat when talking with Haanif Cheatham?

The home attendance average for Haanif's final 6 schools was Marquette (15,327), Georgetown (8,670), California (7,754), Baylor (6,806), Florida State (6,285) and Georgia (6,140).

I guess the weather is better in those locales...? ;)

Let's just say MU wouldn't win the gold medal for "best looking female population" out of that group of schools either.

Interesting that our attendance is more than double the attendance of the Big 5 schools involved (Pac 12, Big 12, ACC, SEC).

Those Georgetown #'s really are depressing.

We've been spoiled for years about how large our crowds are. G'town suffers from the fact that it's not a "local" school in DC as most of its students come from elsewhere and don't stay in DC after graduation. G'town is helped, though, by drawing large numbers of opposing fans. This year their numbers were down compared to prior years since they did not host 'Cuse or UConn, which traditionally drew well.

Yep. And it is also not an easy walk to the Verizon Center from campus...unlike the BC and Marquette. And that makes the place a morgue.

Smaller attendance numbers can be OK if the place is small and gives off a good atmosphere. That being said, I have never heard anyone comment that the atmosphere at Cal, Georgia or FSU games is terribly exciting. Baylor perhaps.

All those predictions were made before Buzz left. They just haven't been changed.

With all of these, I think you need to look at the late movers...and who are making the predictions.
