I don't like the way this was handled, and I'm not sure if I am a fan of Jason Kidd as a coach, or at least a coach I'd give up draft picks to get.
Really a bad early move for the new owners.
I wouldn't mind if they cut a deal with the Clippers for Doc, but Kidd?

Is Kidd better than Drew?

Yes, he gives the franchise instant credibility and if I'm a point guard, I'd love to play for him.

I agree. Could open the door for free agents to come to Milwaukee.

I really hope it works out. Not sure top level guys would come here until it looks like the team is ready to make a move. Of course that will depend on the development of Knight, Giannis, Parker, Henson and Sanders.

Kidd alone, very doubtful. Consistent winning will do the trick. Giannis and Parker need to become household names, almost immediately to get big free agents here. I can see a buy low type of player....Shaun Livingston/Alan Anderson coming in, needing PT to earn a pay day...which Kidd has been known for as a player and in his short coaching career.....Livingston being the first....and given the Bucks cap situation, can easily resign a Livingston.
