Looks like UNC is in both this classic, and the four school event with Mich St, Florida and Texas.

If MU could get into one of these four school events, who would be realistic participants?

Gonzaga or UNLV from the west?
UConn from east?
Memphis or Louisville?
Iowa State or Oklahoma?

I don't mind this event since it falls on Dec. 20. People are away for the holidays and students are out of class.

That is why I really like the upcoming Big Ten/Big East Gavitt Games as they will be at the schools home floor. Gives value to season-ticket holders.

GAS - Great Alaskan Shootout - too bad as that used to be 'THEE' tourney until the warm weather destinations realized there was money and vacationers involved with hoops.

Great Alaska Shootout has been on CBSSN the past couple of years.
