OT: a new sight on campus

Took Wells Street home from downtown today, driving past campus. Traffic westbound was stopped at 13th Street (by Schroeder) but the light was green for a good reason - a wild turkey was crossing the street. Gotta admit, Hizzoner has not seen that one in the city before.

That turkey actually has a pretty good following on campus, it has been around most of the year. I think it even had its own twitter page for a while

At least not since the Lanche was sold to MU. They had plenty of Wild Turkey back in the day.
