A year ago, Brian Wardle’s job was in some danger amid a scandal. Today he inked five-year deal http://cbsprt.co/1gDIuHN

$230,000? With incentives I doubt he clears $300,000. Wojo should offer him $350,000 to be the third assistant.

Wardle isn't leaving a head coaching job in the Horizon League to become an assistant coach at Marquette.

Wardle has a long term plan and so does Green Bay.

Teal is for sarcasm ;)
Though I do wonder how many head coaches could get a raise if they took a HM assistant job like Marquette.

On the volleyball side, Franklin left MU as a assistant to be the Head Coach at Green Bay for one year. Then, Bond left MU for Iowa and Franklin came back to be an assistant at Iowa. So, Green Bay has a track record.

Sometimes I wonder why writers even put this kind of stupid crap in an article........I mean does anybody in the world not think he was interested in the head coaching job at Marquette?
Wardle may have had interest in the Marquette coaching opening this offseason, but the Golden Eagles hired Duke assistant Steve Wojciechowski on April 1.
Wardle did not say Thursday if he was interested in the job at his alma mater, but he is now able to tell potential recruits that he has a long-term deal to be in Green Bay. Of course, Wardle still can leave for another job at any time.
