Hello,

I am looking to make a new historical Marquette website with old stats, rosters, players, schedules, etc. Picture the muscoop wiki on steroids.

I'm looking for it to be a mixture of this Georgetown site (http://www.hoyabasketball.com) and this West Virignia site (http://wvustats.com/mbasketball/).

Anyway, I was wondering if you guys had any ideas for names?

If I had started a site of my own, I probably would have gone with "thewarriorsway.com". Pretty sure it's available, either that or just warriorsway.com is out there last time I checked.

I'm still deciding on a site name before I grab a domain. I'm pretty much just trying to get a layout setup right now. If you have any suggestions, let me know.

There is a little bit of content up so far. All of the 1910's rosters, team photos, captains, and managers are up. Media guide covers, some tournament results, conference information, senior day posters, etc are up.

Like I said, I'm just trying to get a layout setup now. Suggestions are welcomed!

I wouldnt do anything warriors or golden eagles - I think warriors slightly irritates too many young Marquette fans as we are the Golden Eagles (myself included, although I understand why people still like referring to them as warriors - heck, my parents both went to MU) and calling it Golden Eagles may irritate too many older fans. I'd just stay away from it all together if it were me.

I do not have any suggestions about names. I am way past tired of the whole nickname controversy. But as for the layout, I would suggest making the type bigger. Of course, I am getting old, so I like bigger print I can read. I know you have the schedules under one tab. I would like to see them easier to get to. What I miss about the old media guides is the easy accessibility of schedules every season and all time records against schools. I like the ability to look up and find out how many in a row it has been against UWM or what our all time record against Loyola is.
