I was very impressed with Wojo at the initial press conference. He was a little nervous but did a very strong job, I thought. Passionate, earnest, sincere, thoughtful, intelligent. Not over the top with personality but not robotic either. Got a little choked up talking about his wife and boys. First generation college student with a longshoreman dad and stay-at-home mom which means work ethic. Addressed his loyalty, which I thought was important-- it took a lot (and many years) to leave his beloved Duke, but Marquette is a special place.
Obviously, he'll need to win recruiting battles and games to truly be successful, but I am sold. Next up is convincing the current guys to stay, then commits to stay committed, then forming the staff. I'm very excited about the future.
