What an ending!! Williams gets a tip in with 4.5 seconds to go to go up 1. Whitewater drives the length of the floor and gets a lay up and 1 with .09 seconds to go to win it. Unbelievable!

Is there any sport that Whitewater is not good at? Do they have a point system that measures success in D3 that is similar to the D1 award - the name of that award escapes me. If they do, seems like Whitewater would be in the running.

Great to hear, especially with Pro-Am veteran Alex Merg starting at PG for the Warhawks.

They finished 4th last year. It is an award that benefits small privates with a lot of sports. 4th was the highest any public university has finished.

Btw. The uww women also made their final four but lost in the semis. The gymnastics team win its national championship this weekend too but it isn't NCAA sponsored.

Doesn't surprise me.

Let's not forget my Alma Mater St. Norbert just won it's 3rd National Championship in the last 4 years in D3 Hockey yesterday (4th overall). Their coach must love Nubbies because I have to assume some D1 programs have made overtures to him over the years. He has a huge pipeline of talent coming in from Canada every year.

The winning play from yesterday was #3 Play of the Day on ESPN.
