I thought I read somewhere that Isaac Chew was the lead recruiter for Hill. Is my memory correct on that?

I think you can forget about all the out of state recruits....they always come for the coach...they have no ties here

Why wouldn't he want to go with Buzz? That's who he wants to play for and it's closer to home. It's still far, but much closer.

Will Chew stay? Or Autry, if they don't get the head role?

No. A head coach brings in his own guys. A new leader needs to break with the past.

I think you are 100% correct Markedman. That being said, Virginia Tech is Virginia Tech. That will not be turned around quickly. Ahmed Hill is a freshman come August. MU is a far superior program as of today. If MU hires an attractive coach that Hill recognizes and is intrigued by.....who knows? I would not necessarily bet money on MU, but maybe there is still a shot he comes.
Would it be Cords who contacts incoming, signed recruits to try to keep their mind open towards still coming? Sandy Cohen grew up cheering on MU, it was always where he wanted to go. He may still be a good bet to come.

Hill doesn't have to go to Virgina Tech....He will have his choice of many good places.......Obviously MU will give it a shot but most of the time the players reopen and end up someplace else.....
I am sure thye have a real chance to keep Cohen because of MU being his dream school and his friendship with the current players.

Yeah, I hope Hill still comes, but it is most important to get the right coach. For me, (1) Gregg Marshall and (2) Shaka Smart.
