BTW, MU was in 8, not 7, straight NCAA's.
This is the first I've heard of him calling it quits in b-ball.
Yes - I know he and his wife had another venture, some kind of production company, which is why I think he first stopped playing.

When I was 27, I was still lauging at my own gas. Nic is married to a model/basketball player and starting his own company. He's got a pretty good bead on things, I think. MU needs to remind every recruit that success will come with the MU work ethic, and not necessarily on the court.

And I think he is in a better position than if he had left for a chance in the NBA after his first year at MU as more than a few insisted he should have. No way to know for sure, but he seems to be doing more than OK.
