to transfer out of Indiana.
Any thoughts as to the interest of MU? Could use a big who can shoot.

The Scout.com board for IU suggest that he was homesick, did not come out of his dorm and that his Mom came to see him many weekends.

The official release from IU quotes TC as saying that Luke is looking for a better "fit" for himself.
Per old ESPN link, Fischer had offers from IU, BC, Creighton, Iowa and MU.

Other than him being ranked very highly I dont know much about the kid. I'd imagine this would be a huge get for MU?

Honestly, I find this very weird. I mean Bloomington is a nice midwestern town, not all that far away from Germantown.
Where would he go that he isn't homesick? MU, UW and UWM?

MU works just fine.

Hopefully TC blocks him from the other B10
Schools... We could use a 6'11'' big guy.

I think he would have to sit out two years to go to a B10 school
Actually, they changed the rule. Here it is http://espn.go.com/blog/collegebasketballnation/post/_/id/58173/big-ten-makes-changes-to-transfer-rule
If he goes to UW, he get to play 1 1/2 years, at MU, 2 1/2.
13-14 is year one
14-15 is year two, albeit he only plays second semester after sitting out first semester as a transfer
15-16 is year three
16-17 is year four, but he is ineligible at UW because of Big 10 rule.

I wonder if UWGB might be an option. Yes, it's the Horizon League, but Wardle is a good coach, and he's gotten some quality in-state recruits.
LF would not have to sit out two years like he would at UW. He'd pay in-state tuition for a semester instead of MU tuition. He's only an hour and a half from his family. And, he would be a featured player as an upperclassman.
Seems like a logical possibility to me.
