Agreed on both points. On Jake, I liked how he moved without the ball. He also played well on the defensive end. Mayo looked good. I was concerned about how he would do with the mask. Nice play. A little struggle early on, but then played well. Derrick Wilson also played well. At least within what MU needs from him offensively.

We are all emotional right now...but can someone explain to me what Buzz is thinking with this team...rationally? It defies me but there has to be something else going on from Day 1 of this season with the effort and line-ups...Dukiet effort.

If you would have told me at the beginning of the year that this team would have 5 non conferences losses, and before New Years playing for a #1 seed in the NIT, I would have bet anything I owned/have against that. Can't remember a more disappointing non conference than this one in the last 10 years or so. Disgusting. Thanks Vander!

In the 2nd half, the ball stopped too much. First half, when MU had some flow, they were moving the ball. Frustrating to watch when it sits there. Easy to defense. It ends up settling for a difficult one on one drive. I just do not recall another time under Buzz when there was so little ball movement.

I support these guys through it all so I get so pissed when the diehards on this board bash the guys when they are struggling. Thats what the fair weather fans do!

Disappointed in the sense that we're not getting a good seed in NCAA's, but optimistic that this team puts together a strong run of play and is hell to play in February and March.

Next season doesn't hold any more promise. The frontcourt, especially, will be challenged...to say the least.

You are still high:) This team isn't getting any NCAA seed unless they win the conference tournament. I would like to point out that this is not being a bad fan, but a realistic one. I have supported the team since I was ten years old, and continue to through thick and thin. Won't stop me from saying how I feel though. Why do you feel this team is two games better than their current record. That is just ridiculous! It's not like they are losing on buzzer beaters.

I'm optimistic that Buzz will figure things out (despite the tone of my posts). The one BIG, BIG, BIG difference is the lack of opportunities for big wins.

Again, just because I don't support 100% of Buzz's decisions (not playing JJJ/DB more) does not mean that I am ungrateful or spoiled.

I think the students and younger fans may be a little spoiled. Those of us who have watched the team for 40 or 50 years are not spoiled. My kids who are 18 and 21 are spoiled in regards to watching the Packers. They don't remember the team being bad, so they don't appreciate it.

What I don't understand is how calling out your team for poor play makes you any less of a fan? I love MUBB as much as anyone, that said this team isn't performing against top level competition and quite frankly isn't up to our normal standard, I think Buzz would be the first to admit that. I'll still be at every home game, watch every road game and hope like hell, but that doesn't mean I can't call it like it is.
