Interested to see how the team comes off the finals week and who gets in the game. This is the start of the critical month of basketball only that will determine of MU is NCAA tournament worthy.
Yes indeed - sorry for the delay, was catching uo with a few people including Jerry Hopfensperger before the game.
AS many already know, Duane Wilson is out sick.

I thought the defensive was solid and put more pressure on the ball. Had a couple late shotc lock overplays that let IUPUI score, but they were hustle overplays and can't fault that.

Although it has been a tough start to the season, one bright spot has to be Juan Anderson. Goes to show that if kids stick around, they can contribute when they are upperclassmen. Hoping for the same progression from Taylor.
milkbone - you are correct, the last basket was unassisted, at the 2:52 mark they were 15 assists on 16 makes - that is unreal. Add to it 5-8 from 3 pt shooting? I don't even know this team!

That charge call on Jamil is how guys get hurt in college. Clearly, the replay shows the defender leaning in to create contact. Lucky it was just a charge and not a serious injury to JW.
Fletch - You are right about Juan - his hustle and all around play has been great. At the last stat point he was 4-5 from the field and 3-4 from 3pt for 14 pts to go along with 6 rebounds and 3 assists. His hustle for the loose balls has been great.
Here is an odd one, former UWM player JaRob McCallum is on the IUPUI roster, as is his brother. McCallum is coming off a game with his career high in scoring, yet neither McCallum appears to be here.

MU winning the rebounds 38-18.

STJ's officially gone as far as I'm concerned

What's up with this whole Steve thing? Injured, not injured, unhappy with pt? I feel like there's something deeper than is being reported. We will need him next year (and possibly this year)!

What does this even mean?
Taylor has been practicing, but still having problems with his leg.
when considering Taylor for a medical redshirt, understand that the scrimmages counted against the number.

Cannot play Taylor again until he's 100%. Any game he enters from this point forward kills the possibility of a medical redshirt.

Understood on not playing him....but why send him to the table then?

Probably were caught up in game and did not think about the circumstances until they actually sent him in. I think he plays again this season, but it is not a certainty. No reason to take an option off the table in a buy game like this.

Random question. Who was the guy in white pants on the baseline by MU's bench? Seemed like everyone knew him. Former player?
