How do you figure that? Mayo is part of the rotation....he has played in every game when healthy....we have not heard ofd any injury.....so....If he isn't playing he did something to get benched.

It's not fair to Todd to say "he clearly did something wrong" when we don't know that. Until we hear otherwise, innocent until proven guilty. Buzz has not played guys before because they "didn't go hard enough in practice", is that really doing something wrong, if it's something like that?? At the expense of possibly losing a game?? Don't know that there is a lack of hustle. This team is missing parts and the rotation is still a work in progress.

MU doesn't have that guy like a Lockett who does the dirty work and gets on the boards or gets on the floor and unfortunately, Derrick Wilson isn't like Junior in that he will drive and get the and one or the assist. Nobody with any fire.

With all due respect Mark, that's what most said after the ASU loss too. They are 2-2 since. How deep of a hole do they have to dig before it "helps" them?? A season is only so long. You only have so many chances to make a statement, and shine up your tourney resume. 5-4 after 9 games isn't exactly a glowing endorsement.

Right, but those teams had 1 or 2 non conference losses. This one has 4 and could potentially have 5(New Mexico) and possibly even more. Buzz even said this is the most losses they have ever had in the non conference in his 8 years. If they figure it out, they better do it awfully quickly. Remember, it's based on your "whole body of work". Non conference counts in that even though some/most people want to say/think Non conference doesn't really mean much.

Look, maybe they won't, but the level of whining when even the possibility rears it's head by Marq fans is pretty absurd especially given the level of success we have had. If you can't handle the rough times now and then, just stop being a fan. Otherwise grow a freaking pair. And look at the big picture sometimes. We have a great coach great facilities and great potential to get better this year and beyond. Enjoy it.

We clearly need to get more production from the shooting guard position. Jake has to be more than a decoy out there. If Buzz doesn't trust JJ enough yet than I'd be open to the idea of playing Juan there. At least we'd get some rebounds out of the position.

100% on the money. I feel he's the difference between a current 9-0 record and a likely top-3 seed in the Dance and a team that is currently 5-4 and could be on the bubble come March.

9-0 come on........Vander wouldn't have made the difference vs OSU.....he wouldn't play good in every game so we don't know how much difference he would have made in the other losses...clearly we would be better but 9-0 is just fantasy

No, but I think we are closer to being our normal tough squad then many think. If we get everyone on board, this will be still be a strong year.

I don't think our conference is strong enough for it to be a strong year at this point. I don't think we are done, but I think we have our work cut out for us and are looking at a lower seed realistically.
