Saw the most recent rankings - guys @ 10 and gals @ 13 - pretty impressive. G-Town ranked for both as well - the only BE teams in either polls.

Have they ever had a doubleheader with both teams at Valley Fields? What is the max attendance for that facility?

With no football team, have they ever considered a Homecoming Weekend built around the soccer teams to get the alums in town to spend some $'s and get them more involved in the school - not just the sports? Especially considering the $ shortfall during the Pilarz administration.

Maybe have an open gym on a Friday night for the b-ball team for alums only with a meet and greet thing at the end - maybe have a buffet set up on the other court after practice - nothing fancy. Campus tours on Saturday morning - maybe even have the alums eat in the dorms or something for breakfast - the doubleheader on Saturday and a dance or something on Saturday night and a brunch on Sunday.

As far a MU sports in general, do they have an e-mail list you can get on that sends out sports updates especially for the unsung sports that never really get any attention - Cross Country and Track, Lacrosse etc.? Include profiles of the athletes/

At this point, it's likely that men's and women's soccer and volleyball will all win the conference. Some amazing success the last two years for MU fall sports.

Steve Bailey's golf team should be fighting for a top 3 finish in the Big East this year as well and of the 8 players who have competed as part of the team in tournaments, 7 will return with 5 of those being freshman and sophomores. Bailey has also gotten verbals from 2 of the top high school players in Wisconsin in Garrett Loomis (River Falls) and Trevor Thomas (Stevens Point).
