Interesting, that said I'm not sure the "home opener" is as big of a deal as it is in say baseball where opening day is like a holiday. Heck a lot of people I know didn't even know the. Bucks played last night or that the NBA season started yesterday. You would think though that the NBA would want to balance that out just a little bit.

It makes sense for the Bucks to request that their opener be on the weekend, so that they can draw more revenue.
