Marquette Madness Friday Night At 7 p.m.
Annual Event Draws Capacity Crowd At Al McGuire Center
Milwaukee – Marquette University men’s and women’s basketball fans will get their first look at the 2013-14 teams Friday night at 7 p.m. when the programs host the annual Marquette Madness event at the Al McGuire Center.
Admission is free, but seating in the 4,000-seat arena is limited. MUTV will feature a live broadcast, which will be available for free online at GoMarquette.com. FOX Sports 1 will also be in attendance in advance of its BIG EAST Tipoff Party program on Oct. 25.
Highlights of Friday night’s activities include:
Free T-shirts (distributed in the arena)
Free FOX Sports 1 foam fingers (first 1,000 fans)
Team introduction videos
Free men’s and women’s schedule posters
Lifetime Achievement Award ceremony
Dunk contest
3-point contest
Men’s and women’s team scrimmages
