Well... I don't think he was going to get much playing time this season anyway. I wish him the best. The loss of him won't hurt too much. Maybe Kelm will get some confidence in practice now, because when he was matched up against Joe, Tagarelli owned Kyle in practice last year.

Tagarelli was a walk-on and he wanted to earn a scholarship. If he had gone the D-III route, he would have been OK with never getting one. We helped out Kirkwood by getting him there, and everybody wins: we don't have to continue refusing a player a scholarship, he gets the chance to earn a shot, and Kirkwood gets a good player. Let's not forget that this continues to help our recruiting at Kirkwood, as the coaches there prefer us over almost every other school and have helped us land Kaylon Williams and Matt Tiby.
