Rice Lake (Ellinson) v. Dominican (Stone) on Friday at 6 is sure to be a highly anticipated matchup.

Great stuff Mark.

Great line-up again Mark! That Dominican/Rice Lake game will be classic.

Out of curiosity, any reason Hamilton is not involved?

I'll be there! This will be a sad tourney without Dennis Netterfield being at this great event, morning to night! Dennis will be watching from the big sky.

Agree on Dennis. He's been at every WBY Shootout since we started in 2005 and at virtually every game.

Hamilton was invited but I believe coach Diener is taking his team to an out of state event.

Mark, do anticipate inviting any out-of-state teams to this event in the future (such as teams maybe with future MU or UW players and some top Chicago schools) or do you strictly want to limit it to Wisconsin only schools?

Either way, it's a great event. When my kids get older, I'll have to plan my trips back to the homeland with this event in mind.

Keeping it to WI teams at this point. Too expensive to bring in out-of-state schools, to be honest.

Who are the top players for these schools, that D1 schools are after?

Mark - Looks like the 2015 class has some size. We all know Stone and Ellenson are big time.
What is the likely level for Heldt? What about Schwartz?

I would classify both Heldt and Schwartz as MM-Plus guys at this point.

I think both will eventually wind up as HM recruits, though.

Schwartz is a 4-man who can go inside and outside. Very skilled. Needs to add some weight and get stronger, but there is a lot to like about him.

Heldt is a 4/5 who doesn't stray too far from the basket. Needs to add weight and strength and become more aggressive, but he can score with either hand in the lane.

If I had to guess, both Heldt and Schwartz are Wisconsin-type recruits in their makeup. Whether UW offers both remains to be seen, but both are definitely on the radar for the Badgers.
