The new BE's TV contract is with Fox while MU's radio outlet is ESPN Wisconsin 540. Something going to give down the road...?

I doubt it will make any difference at all....540 is affliated with ESPN it is not owned by them.

I brought this up a while ago. For years 1250 had access to the Fox Sports radio shows, but opted to build themselves up as WSSP Sports Radio 1250. Why they did not attach themselves to Fox is beyond me. At the same time, WAUK 540 built themselves up as ESPN radio, brought in national shows etc. I think that was a bad move by WSSP.

Now 920 WOKY switched to a Sports focus (Big 920), adopted the Fox network and runs shows like Dan Patrick and Jay Mohr as well as partnering with some of the NBC radio Network. WOKY is making an impact, but what I think is odd for them, is that the "Big" in Big 920 is focusing on Wisconsin and the Big 10. That is all fine and dandy, but now with Fox being the home of the Big East, will they want some radio action with MU coverage?

All remains to be seen.
