ESPN's Andy Katz has reported that Butler is considering replacing Temple in the Atlantic 10 when they move to the Big East. What does that mean for us? What does it mean for the Horizon League? What does everyone think?

Not good.
It makes the league weaker and hurts its chances to be a multi bid league.
On the other hand it does open the door for us to step up and be the known #1 rather then the #2...
They were lucky to get the invite when they did. They had a magical run for two years behind some pretty solid players. Those players are gone, and I don't expect them to be back in the Final Four anytime soon. Had this offer not come this year, it may never have come. Great opportunity for Milwaukee to step up and become the dominant player in the conference.

Football is the key. Missouri valley might be an option if Milwaukee had football.

What I keep hearing from friends in the MVC is that they want to stay at 10.
Football should be our direction, however. Differentiates us from Marquette, we'd be the only football game in town as opposed to the third basketball option, and we'd be available to two conferences that wouldn't take us right now - the MAC and MVC.
