I know that last year's senior class in the Big East was, overall, a bit subpar compared to previous years. Still, I found the following stats unusual, to say the least.
For conference games only, not one of the 25 leading scorers was a senior. Not one.
In terms of rebounding, for conference games, only two (Cooley and Yarou) of the top 20 were seniors.
I don't know if anyone else is surprised by these stats, but I sure am.
About the only category in which seniors made a significant mark was assists as there were a number of senior point guards.
