Supervisor of officials before hiring a commish...? Isn't Dan Bebee the inter-commish?

Isn't Dan Bebee the inter-commish?still, would think the real commish would want his own people. Cart before the horse here...?

Depends on when conferences start lining up officials. Keeping in mind that this is a new conference, there may be more work to get this off the ground than conferences with contracts already in place with officials.

Time is of the essence.

This makes sense to me. Haven't finished with the commish yet, fine, take your time to do it right. On the official side, you have to schedule refs for 200 games. Conference, non-conference - that is a difficult task that has to start now.

The one thing that I question in the story is the name of the photographer that took the picture of Cahill.... "Skip Dickstein"? Is that a real name? Is that classic or is my juvenile mindset just getting the best of me?

It is both classic and juvenile. I'm waiting for Mayor Beluga to to weigh in on Cahill's running style again.

Not the Mayor, but I'll do it anyway. So is Cahill going to demand that all Big East refs run like girls?

Has anyone ever seen the Mayor run?

No, nor have I ever seen him in the sun.

Yes. Where do you think Cahill got his running style from?

Having seen those legs when he wears his kilts I don't doubt it at all.

Geez. Hizzoner gets stuck in back to back to back meetings, and this board's jealousy toward's The Mayor (driven in part by his incredible awesomeness) comes to the fore. Ugly. Truly ugly. Much like Caribou singing showtunes. Or, well, everything about Goose.

Goose's legs are whiter than Hizzoner's. Where does he get off taking a shot at the Mayor's pins?
