Obviously some of the numbers don't match. There have never been more than three teams in the CBI from the BCS conferences, so you can expect that several of the schools we have in the CBI (eight BCS) may decline an invitation to the CBI.

So far - from all my research - I've only found THREE teams from outside the BCS conferences to decline the CIT or CBI. Missouri State and Tulsa have both decline this year, even though they both participated in the past. In the past, the only other team I've seen DECLINE an invitation is Wright State.

Utah Valley St was eliminated from the Great West Tourney tonight.

The Great West CIT bid will now go to either NJIT or North Dakota

Minny or Eville would be intriguing midwest opponents

Is it certain that UWM would accept a CIT or CBI bid?

I'm told that we're definitely going to the CBI. This much we know - we're waiting on some concrete info.

Also - thank you for joining the board! Please, post everyday! We want to get the black and gold love up in here!

Talked to a coach at LSU. They will NOT participate in the CBI if they miss out on the NIT. We have them in the NIT right now.

New Mexico State won the WAC tournament, and will be going to the NCAA. Nevada gets an auto-bid to the NIT as regular season WAC winner if they're not in the NCAA.

Thanks and hopefully we can squeeze 1 more home game out of the season.
