McKay didn't play in the pro-am last summer did he? If not, any reasons why?

I know he's a lot skinnier, but he reminds me a bit of Ed Daniel from Murray State. Quick leaper, long arms, plays with a little bit of reckless abandon.

He's gonna really benefit from a summer with Todd Smith.

He could a terror on the top of a press. Think he starts and plays 25 minutes a night if Big Chris does not come back, and plays 20 minutes a night even if Big Chris does return.

He looks like he would fit in nicely with that dreaded SU zone - long and athletic. Sorry, still having nightmares about that one.

I would love to be a fly on the wall in upcoming practices. The McKay vs Jamil Wilson battles will be EPIC! And the winner of that battle is the team.

Needs to get stronger. He may battle for a starting spot, but he may be an energy guy off the bench next year.

Having high school or Juco players can be done, but it is a different classification and would require us to put on seminars for players and jump through a few
Additional hoops. If someone can convince
Me it is worth - we can do it.

If there was ever a time to do it, it would probably be now with Looney and Stone coming up.

Yes, but how often would they be there with their AAU schedules?

The crowds would be bigger, but alot of wannabe street agents may also show up. May not be worth the headache.

Street agents would be there regardless. My issue remains....how often would they be there?
The Pro-Am basically runs every weekend in July and the first weekend in August.....

July 10-14
Adidas Invitational
Next Level Invitational
AAU National Championships

July 17-21
NY2LA Summer Sports Jam
Bigfoot Hoops (Vgeas)
Kentucky Hoopfest

July 24-28
Adidas Super 64 Showcase
Las Vegas Fab 48

That is just from looking at two AAU team websites. The list is a lot longer. So, do you take Stone & Looney, hold amateurism classes and deal with closer NCAA scrutiny for two weeks?
