Sounds like Temple will officially begin Big East play for football in the 2012 season. They play in the same stadium as the Eagles.
Next season it is 8 for football and 15 for hoops.
2013-2014 seasons will be rather interesting. My guess is Pitt and Syracuse will spend a few extra bucks and leave the conference a year early so that would mean 12 for football (add Boise St, San Diego State, Memphis, Houston, SMU and UCF) and 18 for hoops (add Memphis, Temple, UCF, Houston and SMU).
Better football conference and still one of the top basketball conferences in the country. Let's hope Louisville and Cincy stay and form a very solid Big East conference going forward.
