There are a lot of exciting games early in the dance. Which potential matchups are you looking forward to and why?
1) UL-SLU- possible game of the year, thus far.
2) Mich. vs VCU- should be a fast entertaining game.
3) Ole Miss vs Madison- my buddy tipped me off to this. Marshall Henderson is a villain and loves that role. Should be fun to see the contrast of the two teams.
4) Zags vs Wich St- two well coached "mid majors"
5) Minn vs Fl- two pressing teams.

Creighton-Duke would have a lot of traditionals on the floor at the same time, but could be very well played and somewhere around 160 total points (which nowadays is far too rare of a sight).

I would absolutely love to see it, but I am thinking he goes about 2-21.

Oh man that would be a thing of beauty and would have Badger fans seething for a longgggg time, that some "punk" destroyed them that way. Make it happen Marshall! Go all Steph Curry on them!

tough to discount a team that seems to be on a roll lately.

One question I have is the 4 play in games, I understand the worst 4 teams out of 68 and the 2 winner's become 16 seeds and play one seeds. My question is the last 4 at large teams 1 comes in as 13 seed and the other a 11 seed It does not make sense to me how they could be 2 seeds apart. That would mean all 4 12 seeds were Conf Champs? which only 3 out of 4 are?

I think they moved them around the seed lines to make their travel easy. For instance, if MTSU and St. Mary's were playing for the 12th seed, they would have to travel to San Jose for a game on Thursday. Now they are travelling to Auburn Hills, and Oregon gets the 12 seed and stays out west. (The 13 seed was a conference champ - New Mexico State.)
The only other bracket that has 12/13 playing on Thursday is also in Auburn Hills, but they have two conference champions - Akron and South Dakota State.
