Tickets in New York

I know I asked this a few weeks back but don't really remember what people said!

I'm going with a group, we don't have tickets. So, for those who have gone, do you think it's better to buy some online before we go? Or just go and scalp?

Tickets should be OK for Thursday and Sunday. Friday is the tough ticket with the BIG EAST final four--especially if Syracuse is there. With UConn out, only school that can drive prices up is Syracuse.

It's ok to scalp but be extremely careful. Make sure the scalpers walk you into the stadium (most if not all understand this). At least have one of your party go in first and give the scalper the money after they are in.

Also, if you are scalping, look at the tickets right before you get in and compare them to each other to make sure they are together. These guys are professionals and can get the tickets back from you and switch them out for worse seats without you even knowing.

Trust me, if you are not sharp you will run a very good risk of getting ripped off out there in NY. Have a good time and just be alert.

Yes, be careful. They may try to slip an unused ticket from tonight's doubleheader; if you're not careful.

there are bogus tickets out there, as well. Make use there is a watemark is on the back of the ticket, to ensure authenticity
