Bracketology and New Big East

Looking at Lunardi and Palm, here is how the new conference / possible additions look for 2013 NCAA tourney projections.

Team - Lunardi seed / Palm seed - status
Georgetown - 1/1 - C7
Marquette - 4/4 - C7
St. Louis - 5/4 - possible NBE
Butler - 7/5 - expected NBE
Notre Dame - 6/6 - possible NBE one and done
VCU - 6/7 - possible NBE
Creighton - 9/9 - possible NBE
Villanova - 14/12 - C7

Not all of these will be in the NBE, but not a bad list of teams when looking at starting a new Big East conference.

It would have been interesting to see if you threw all these teams into the same conference this year how many would make the tournament. I'm hoping we can get 6 of 12 in the future of 5 of 10, I think that will be tough though.

Villanova a 14? Never seen a high major get that low of a seed. That would be a rough draw for whoever is the 3 seed.
