I still can't believe the end of that Iowa State game - they got screwed beyond belief.

First off, Kansas' Jeff Withey commits his 5th foul. As the ref comes in, another player jumps in front of him and raises his hand - ref reports the other player as the one who committed the foul, but no question it was Withey.

Then, in the final seconds, Elijah Johnson drives to the hole where two Iowa State players were standing there like statues. Both are sent to the floor, but no call. To make it worse, the Johnson lands on top of Gorges Niang. They both reach for the ball, Johnson gets it and passes it out and they call a foul on Niang, who is laying under Johnson but did not foul him in anyway. Johnson hits free throws sending it to OT.

No question, Withey should have fouled out.
No question, it should have been a charge.
No question, Niang did not foul Johnson.

The Big XII announced this morning that they are reviewing the officials from the final minutes, but nothing will come of it. They will issue an apology and move on. ISU got screwed.

No doubt our streak is far more impressive than SDSU's, when you look at who we have beat and who they have beat it doesn't even match up.
