A favorite Al story regarding Earl. I was at Al's basketball camp as a kid. He was telling recruiting stories and said that he was recruiting Earl against Dale Brown and LSU. Earl told Al that Brown said it was so cold up in Milwaukee that Earl's eyes would freeze shut. Al responded that in Louisiana they have bugs that hang from the ceiling and wait until you fall asleep and then drop on your head. Al said Earl was more afraid of bugs than the cold, so he chose MU.
