Take Marquette.

Yep, once again, just as I have said the last 3 MU games, take MU and run as fast as you can before they realize they made a mistake with the line. Boy vegas sure has no pulse on this ball club with the lines they have set lately. Pitt -10, UL -11, Cincy -6?? LOL. MU is some of the easiest money made in vegas right now.

It's a very odd line. MU has covered 4 of their last 5 and Louisville hasn't in their last 4. The oddsmakers seem to be about 2 weeks behind. 6.5 would have been a good line for today. With an over/under of 132.5, they are predicting a 72-61 UL win today. I'll take the under and give me MU with the points.

The computers generally agree. Kenpom says 73-61, GAMER says 76-63. I think we out-do the spread by 13.

I will take any old kind of a win on the road, but the line does surprise me. Marquette has played well on the road so far, beating Pitt and certainly beating the spread against Cinci despite the disastrous first half. Louisville has certainly been beatable. I would put money on MU and run as well. On the Louisville board, they seem pretty confident and think the spread is about right.

I've been bullish on this team the entire year, but if this game is within ten points, I'll be shocked.

I'll put on a OGBH liter wager for whoever wants to say Marquette with finish within ten points.

We beat Pitt in overtime, and they didn't have their best player, Woodall. We barely lost to Cinci, but they were without Wright, arguably their most important player.

Florida and GB were disasters.

If we keep this game under 10, I'll be surprised.

I'd agree, I see this one ending in a less than pretty fashion. I really hope I'm wrong, but I guess we will see.

The key is Junior against the press. If he forces or turns it over, MU is in trouble. If he takes care of the ball, I like MU's chances.

For saying MU would win outright, he should get you 2.

Glad I took Louisville to beat the spread. Won't take the sting out of the loss, but will cover my super bowl bets.
