Follows up their impressive win against Butler with an absolute thrashing of Dayton, 81-52. Are these guys trying to send a message to the B7 or what?

If we they go with 12 teams, which I hope they do, I'm in favor of SLU joining us - their program is on the way up including facilities and the city of St. Louis has always had a nice pipeline of students going to MU and the school itself has a lot in common with MU. Nice Hank connection as well.

When you look back at the 70s, the smaller, private schools were monsters in college basketball - if the new conference goes with the right network and builds it the right way, you could see the small private schools return to prominence in college ball.

These are the same reasons that I favor Saint Louis.

I would take St. Louis & VCU over Dayton.

I would take St. Louis & VCU over Dayton.

I've had no problems with Dayton being added, but they are definitely struggling this season. Surprising.

Count me in for that too MU/Panther.

I love in how Dayton has a great fan base and gets solid attendance for years, but is that the reason why we should add them.

TV money is likely #1, and if there is no difference between schools to the TV networks, then the future expecation of NCAA credits should be the next criteria used.
