Jim Wheeler passed away yesterday. He was an impassioned Marquette supporter and one of the best men I have ever had the honor of knowing. Rest in peace Jim. I am a better person for having known you and you will be missed greatly. Say hi to Al, Hank and Rick for us all!

Wow - sad to hear without question. Jim & Ginny Wheeler have donated a lot of time and money to MU, and were a fixture at midcourt at every MU home game. I think it was the 2003 run where I remember students taking pictures of Jim, they had no idea who he was, but were doing it just because he had "those MU pants".
