Sam Mader is averaging 9 points I believe for the Huskies.

Score?
MVP?
3 Keys?

I am kind of excited for this game. I grew up following the Huskies. They are definitely a football school, but they have been known to have some decent bball teams every once and a while. Do I think this is one of those years... No. No I don't. I am a little superstitious about predicting the score of games but here we go:

Final Score
MKE 64
NIU 48

MVP
Paris Gulley

Three Keys
1) The cold shooting from Wednesday will be a thing of the past. I think we will have 3 players with double digits
2) Meech is going to have another well played low foul game on defense and add to it with a few more makes than tonight's game, maybe a few more made FTs as well :)
3) Keeping turnovers low and moving the ball better. We didn't have very good ball movement against Buffalo, hopefully that is a thing of the past.

I wasn't going to bother with this this time, but since I have an hour to kill between work and class this morning what the hell..

Milwaukee 65-63. Nothing comes easy for this team.

MVP: Paris Gulley

1, 2, and 3. More than 2 points from the bench.

It was a crazy win but it was a win nonetheless. I am happy that the players looked like they cared, dropped the ******** and just went out there and played.

There is a real lack of cohesion among the team which I think is a fairly sizable chunk of the problem.

They would have won this game a bit more handedly if they didn't revert back to their bad habit of chucking 3's for the bulk of the second half. They should be smart enough to know that just because you had the touch in the first half doesn't mean you will for the second half. If you miss 2-3 straight 3's, put it on hold for a while...

Also, is Jordan Aaron used to being a point guard? I think it was the post-game interview on 1130 where I heard Chad say that Jay-O is a great shooter, who just happens to be a point guard, and that it was hinted that he is not always used to passing the ball off...any know on this at all?

Otherwise, nice to see a win, nice to see a great def output from Harris, plus actually making FT in the clutch for the rest of the guys! Minus Harris' 1-5, the Panthers shot 80% from the line.

He is a score-first point guard, but definitely a point guard.
