Should we be reading anything into this? Earlier story said he was going to cut out two suitors... we are not one of the 3 listed visiting today per JayhawnSlant.

given the effort shown by Buzz (stated by Jim it might have been the hardest he's ever recruited someone) this has got to be very, very hard to swallow

Good luck to him. Marquette is not an easy school to recruit to, especially when you are going against the likes of Florida, Kansas and Texas.

Ahh, making me feel sick all over again. As I look at the Twitter announcements, I see "equivalent of a top-20 commit" (Dave Telep) and "top 35-50 range" (Eric Bossi). He was exactly what we needed to give Buzz the chance to push us into elite status.

Are you inferring negative recruiting? Can't that be expected nowadays? I know maybe Buzz and some coaches may stay away from that, but it seems like hoping that wouldn't happen would be like hoping we will never see negative political ads in Wisconsin again.

Perfect fit in Kansas will resemble a better version of Thomas Robinson and will probably grow more and can shoot the ball. Dunks of everybody at will college basketball fans are just very fortunate he didn't commit to Billy Donovan and the Gators or they would win championships back to back especially with walker, hill, plus him and then if Jabari and Randle committed there. Scary sight but Jabari looks like he will go to Izzo and MSU and Randle I see him possibly joining Jojo at Kansas

Yes, and no way was Buzz half-assing with the effort he put in on JJ and Embiid. And we got 1 of the 2, which is a pretty good return rate for schools not named Kentucky or one with the open checkbook.

No, it was a tongue in cheek comment about Buzz since the real information clearly wasn't about to be leaked here. Interesting thought about Embiid though, but I can't imagine we would have spent all of the time and resources on him if Buzz truly felt Jojo wasn't prepared to work to be a part of the program. Unfortunate we couldn't land him, but Buzz is getting closer and closer to landing a true blue chip style recruit.
